MY STORY
Over 10 years of professionalism with training in advanced and medical nail education. A passion that started when I was a young child. From coloring my walls to pampering and polishing friends and family in my bedroom as a hobby to becoming a professional. As I grew in the field of cosmetology, I became very passionate about the health benefits of manicures and pedicures. Its not just about pretty nails but the importance behind maintaining good selfcare, so I furthered my knowledge and skills by becoming a Certified Advanced Nail Technician and kept learning more about the medical aspects of nail care. About 6 years into my career, I developed a nearly debilitating allergic reaction to nail products so with a lot of determination and rebranding, I can now proudly say that I strive to use all high end, non toxic products that are 9 & 21 free, HEMA free, HPMA free, TPO free, vegan & cruelty free so without compromising your health I can ensure I am making your service a safe and allergy free experience.
Foot Care for Elderly
Just what the Dr. ordered! Hands-on waterless pedicure.
Providing in-home wellness pedicure & toenail clipping services to seniors, persons with disabilities and those recovering from surgery who require a special touch. Advanced training in working aseptically with clients for their ultimate protection from the transfer of infection. Knowledge in recognition (not diagnosis) of foot conditions. Maintaining the appearance of one’s feet may seem frivolous to some, but proper foot care is an important component of an elder’s overall health. Certain symptoms and podiatric issues can indicate more serious underlying conditions and can also affect a person’s mobility and quality of life! The cause for higher concern with elderly patients is due to decreased nerve feeling (neuropathy) or decreased blood flow. It can be difficult for seniors with limited range of motion to give their feet, ankles and lower legs the care they need, so this aspect of personal care often falls to their family and or caregivers. However, something as simple as improperly trimming a loved one’s toenails can cause pain and even infection. Performing pedicures on elderly clients can be tricky. It can be difficult and occasionally stomach-turning to handle a loved one’s foot care. It's extra important they put their feet in good hands.
